Responsible AI
The Responsible AI Laboratory (RAIL) is a transversal research initiative at CISUC, University of Coimbra, dedicated to the development of transparent, fair, trustworthy, and sustainable AI systems. Bringing together researchers from multiple CISUC groups, RAIL provides a coordinated framework to advance research on explainable and human-centered AI, fairness and bias mitigation, reliability and robustness, ethical and legal compliance, and the societal impact of AI technologies.
